About
Hi! I’m Sarah and I have always enjoyed exploring the outdoors, for both physical and mental health rewards. I am lead instructor of Wye Nordic Walking and an instructor member of British Nordic Walking, am fully insured and first aid trained.
I teach the International Nordic Walking Federation (INWA) 10-step technique, which combined with your natural walking style and Nordic walking poles, achieves a full body workout. Nordic walking is experiencing a surge in popularity, both in the UK and globally. It’s not surprising,
as it is suitable for a wide range of people and for all ages. The ‘power of poles’ engages 90% of skeletal muscles, burning up to 46% more calories than regular walking. Best of all, Nordic walking gets us out in the fresh air, meeting new people and enjoying getting fitter
together!
Wye Nordic Walking offer regular venues for courses at:
- Herefordshire Wildlife Trust’s – Bartonsham Meadow Hereford.
- Herefordshire Wildlife Trust’s – Lugg Meadow Hereford
- Garway Common -Garway.
I also host a variety of walks in
Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and Monmouthshire.
So, if you’re interested in getting outdoors, meeting new people and being part of a walking community near you, why not learn how to Nordic walk, by booking a beginner’s technique course.
Thanks in advance!
Sarah
