Walks

Being located in the Wye Valley, we are so blessed to have beautiful open countryside, nature reserves, and forests to explore. At Wye Nordic Walking our aim is to use these fantastic locations for our  Walks.

Evening Social Nordic Walk Dinedor Hill - From Hereford

Date: Tuesday 5th May 6-7.30pm

Distance: 3-3.5 miles

In Hereford – From Watery Lane opposite Moorlands (a pink house).

Points of Interest:  Woodlands, bluebells and stunning viewpoints.
Terrain: Rural public footpaths, stony walkways and grassy fields.
Challenges: Stiles and hills  (560ft ascent) 
Well Behaved dogs are welcome

Evening Social Nordic Walk -The Doward

Date: Wednesday 6th May 6-7.30pm  

Distance: 3.5-4 miles

From Little Doward car park: ///labs.recap.penny

Points of Interest: Woodlands, ancient trees, bluebells, wild garlic, stunning viewpoints, trig point, Lord’s Wood quarry and  King Arthur’s stone.
Terrain: Hard-packed soil, stony trails and grassy fields.
Challenges: Stiles and hills (990 ft of ascent)
Well Behaved dogs are welcome

Evening Social Nordic Walk -Bartonsham Meadow - Hampton Park

Date: Tuesday 12th May 6-7.30pm  

Distance: 4.5 miles

Meet at Brailsford  Hall Scout corner ///pushed.stay.retire

Points of Interest: Meadows and views of the river Wye
Terrain: Rural public footpaths, stony walkways and grassy fields.
Challenges: There are no challenges.
Well Behaved dogs are welcome

Evening Social Nordic Walk -Garway Hill

Date: Wednesday 27th May 6-7.30pm  

Distance:  4 -4.5 miles

Points of Interest: Wild Ponies, Trig point and views of multiple counties.
Terrain: Rural public footpaths, stony walkways and grassy fields.
Challenges: 800 -1000ft of ascent
Well Behaved dogs are welcome

Evening Social Nordic Walk -Breinton springs & Wyevale Woods

Date: Tuesday 26th May 6-7.30pm  

Distance:  3.5 -4 miles
